This ring is from the Silky Collection.

A half cut cocoon and a 6mm black pearl are mounted on top of this handmade sterling silver ring. The cocoon I used is the one that produces pure tussah silk (wild silk). It has been sanitized, and treated in a special way so it's hard, neat and clean enough for jewellery making. The treatment I applied allows the cocoon to remain its natural attractive colour, particularly the rich creamy sheen of the silk.
